In Tunisia, preventive care was mainly delivered by the public health sector.
However with the growing importance of private sector, we assume the latter is more and more involved in such activity.
This study was conducted to determine the coverage and the contribution of private health sector in prenatal care.
A questionnaire was administered to 300 women attending primary health (62 health districts in Monastir) for the first vaccination of their children at three months of age.
